The cohort graduated 15 entrepreneurs and 5 startups; the startups are Tena and MedkEt, digital health startups, and Gebeta, Temaribet and New Era Research and Development (N.E.R.D).
The foundation has allocated USD 300 million for the initiative to be used over five years.
Fellowship applications are open for entrepreneurs working and living in Ethiopia, Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, Rwanda, Senegal, and Uganda
The platform is expected to modernize Ethiopia's tourism sector and provide tourists the security and organization they need.
Ethiopia currently has the ability to produce more than 500,000 tons of honey per year but the nation only produces 9 to 10 percent of that amount.
